It is with great pleasure that 3D AAA announce an opportunity for members to qualify for World Archery 3D Championships, held from the 30th September to 6 October, 2024 at Mokrice, Slovenia. More Information here World Archery 3D Championships 2024.
3D AAA, in conjunction with Archery Australia (AA), through the Archery Alliance of Australia (AAA), is holding the qualifying event at Lake Macquarie Field Archers. This will be a Special Event held on the 18th and 19th May, 2024. This Event will be open to all Archery Alliance Members to qualify. (Conditions APPLY for selection IAW 2024 World Archery 3D Selection Criteria.pdf).
4 qualifying divisions will be run under 3D AAA rules (except distances) on the day as follows.
Compound Men and Women Shooting from the Blue Peg Maximum Distance of 50 Yards. (45.7m)
Barebow Men and Women Shooting from the Orange Peg Maximum Distance 30 Yards. (27.4m)
Longbow Men and Women Shooting from the Orange Peg Maximum Distance 30 Yards. (27.4m)
Traditional Men and Women Shooting from the Orange Peg Maximum Distance 30 Yards. (27.4m)
Note all 3D AAA distances can have up to a 5% variance on maximum IAW 3D AAA Rules of Shoot.
Whilst the qualifying event is run under 3D AAA equipment rules it is the responsibility of the Archer to ensure their equipment will qualify under World Archery Rules (HERE) prior to representing Australia should you be successful.
