About the Awards
The Merrilyn Sheather & Terry Sheather Awards
The Merrilyn Sheather Award recognises achievements of an Female Adult member/s & The Terry Sheather Award recognises achievements of a Male Adult member/s.
In honour of Merrily Sheather & Terry Sheather these awards were created to recognise a 3DAAA Member/s who are selfless and give their time into the association for the betterment of the sport.
These awards do not have to go to a committee member, or shooter, and are to be considered recognition of the effort and commitment that this member has given 3DAAA in the year of its award.
The awards are not restricted to archery performance at all, and the decision will be made based on the
applicant’s performance in all areas of being an exceptional member of 3DAAA.
The Young Achiever Award
This annual award was introduced to recognise some of our outstanding young archers.
This award is not simply about performance, this award also encompasses a positive attitude towards 3D archery and in particular, 3DAAA. While performing at your best is always something our Young Achiever strives for, they also understand that having fun and promoting the sport in the wider community are also important.
The award is decided by the committee after reviewing nominations made by the young archers club or a member of the association who feels the cub or youth should be recognised for their efforts with a special presentation.
This award is open to all cub and youth shooters
